De hecho, se comportan como miembros horizontales que no solamente re\u00fanen y transmiten las fuerzas de inercia a los sistemas estructurales verticales, sino que tambi\u00e9n aseguran que dichos sistemas resistan todos juntos la acci\u00f3n horizontal.<br \/>\n&#8230;<br \/>\nPor lo tanto es absolutamente importante que los pisos tengan una rigidez y resistencia en plano adecuada y que est\u00e9n conectados de manera eficaz a los elementos estructurales verticales. Contemplado en las NTC permite grandes ventajas en zonas s\u00edsmicas.
